2020 AWA Men's Group 1

“When I first arrived, I wondered if I had made a mistake. I did not realize I would be challenged mentally, physically, and spiritually. But trusting the process as requested, I was able to let go of my pride and reset. Obtaining a new goal, purpose, and direction. On the last night of the journey, I accepted Jesus as my Savior in the presence of my brothers. Being baptized in Trappers Lake… Priceless!”
– Vance Johnson, US Army Veteran / Homeland Security

With the COVID-19 pandemic, are year ended up looking a little different than we had planned. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several of our 2020 programs (2 spring men’s programs, 2 summer women’s programs, and 1 fall marriage programs) were cancelled. Thankfully, we were still able to provide 4 men’s programs this summer and they were a huge success! We kicked things off with an amazing group of warriors from the Adaptive Training Foundation. Several of these men suffered severe injuries taken during combat. But that didn’t stop these Warriors from giving their all and accomplishing what they set out to do. Each man left it all on the mountain and their lives will never be the same because of it.

If you'd like to help advance the goodness that these Men's programs and other AWA programs are generating for our brave American warriors, contact us or donate below!
