2019 AWA Men's Group 1

With winter still showing its presence in the mountains, the American Warrior Association welcomed five men as the first men’s warrior class on June 24, 2019. Many of the roads were closed from the year’s vast amount of snowfall along with many of the trails. This made for a fantastic experience as the group pretty much had the entire surrounding forest and wilderness areas to themselves. The fishing was slow that week, but the views from the hiking and the horseback expeditions were incredible with the snow-capped peaks on the horizon. These warriors trekked through snowdrifts that were several feet deep as they traversed cross-country to reach a place of rest and healing surrounded by towering cliffs and waterfalls. The week ended with a baptism of one of the warriors in water that had been frozen just weeks before.  The baptism and worship that followed was an amazing ending to the first class of the American Warrior Association.
